Position: Structural Detailer

Experience: 3 - 5 years

We are seeking a skilled Structural Detailer with expertise in STAAD.Pro, RISA, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings, 3D models, and fabrication drawings for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Refinery projects. This role involves working closely with engineers and designers to develop high-quality deliverables for onshore and offshore structures while ensuring compliance with industry codes and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and general arrangements for steel structures, platforms, pipe racks, and modules.
• Create 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD tools.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations using STAAD.Pro and RISA for onshore and offshore structures.
• Prepare shop drawings, connection details, and material take-offs (MTOs) for fabrication.
• Work collaboratively with structural engineers to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications (e.g., API, AISC, ASCE, BS, ISO, and NORSOK).
• Assist in clash detection and coordination with other disciplines (Piping, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Maintain project documentation and revision control of drawings.
• Support the team in checking and reviewing detailed drawings to ensure quality control.
• Participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in structural detailing and drafting within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industry.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and RISA for structural analysis and design.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and MicroStation for drafting and detailing.
• Knowledge of steel and concrete structure design principles.
• Ability to interpret structural engineering drawings, P&IDs, and vendor drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points):

• Experience in EPC/EPCM projects related to refineries, petrochemicals, and offshore structures.
• Exposure to 3D modeling software like SaadPro
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
