Position: Sr. Piping Engineer (AVEVA E3D)

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer with 8–12 years of design and engineering experience, particularly in the Oil & Gas / Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of AVEVA E3D (mandatory), piping layout, stress analysis, material specifications, and 3D model management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute piping engineering deliverables from Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, to Commissioning and handover.
• Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, and general arrangement drawings in line with project and client specifications.
• Prepare Piping Material Specification (PMS), Valve Material Specification (VMS), and Branch Tables.
• Review and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3), and industry best practices.
• Prepare, check, and finalize piping datasheets, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Perform piping stress analysis and hydraulic calculations using appropriate tools.
• Conduct and resolve 3D model clash checks using AVEVA E3D Clash Manager; ensure a clash-free model.
• Interface with other disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated plant design.
• Coordinate with vendors and review technical offers, data sheets, and drawings for piping equipment/components.
• Prepare and submit Statutory Approval drawings and related documentation as per regulatory standards.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, model reviews, and project/client coordination meetings.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, reports, and records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of department standards, templates, and workflows.
• Must be willing to travel for short- or long-term project assignments, including US or Europe.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
• Mandatory hands-on expertise in AVEVA E3D and Clash Manager.
• Working knowledge of additional tools: SP3D, Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in piping codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM).
• Experience in preparing and checking material take-offs (MTOs) and BOMs.
• Knowledge in piping stress engineering is preferred.
• Prior experience on US or international projects is an added advantage.
• Visa (B1/B2 or H1) preferred for overseas assignments.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Team-oriented, detail-driven, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
