Seeking an experienced SCADA Design Engineer with strong domain expertise in plant controls, industrial automation, and SCADA/HMI systems. The ideal candidate will lead the development and deployment of robust SCADA solutions, mentor junior engineers, manage cross-functional coordination, and ensure project delivery within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of SCADA systems for process and manufacturing plants.
• Provide technical leadership on PLC, HMI, and SCADA integration for process automation.
• Define control system requirements in coordination with process, instrumentation, and electrical teams.
• Architect, configure, and customize SCADA systems including alarm management, data logging, and reporting.
• Prepare and review network architectures, I/O lists, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and industry standard alignment across all deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, provide technical support, and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Engage with vendors and suppliers for technical evaluations, quotations, and negotiations.
• Represent the discipline in cross-functional meetings with consultants, vendors, EPCs, and clients.
• Lead projects with a focus on execution excellence, quality assurance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Handle fast-paced environments with high expectations for delivery accuracy and agility.

Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in SCADA platforms including:
  • AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA Historian & Clients
  • FactoryTalk View ME/SE
  • Ignition SCADA (Vision & Perspective)
  • Plant SCADA (Citect)
• Strong background in PLC programming and HMI development.
• Deep knowledge of communication protocols: Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, EtherCAT, TCP/IP, etc.
• Familiarity with industrial networking, sensors, and field instrumentation.
• Strong experience in BOM generation, design documentation, and equipment specifications for both hazardous and safe areas.
• Solid understanding of process plant operations across Oil & Gas, Food, and Pharma sectors.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and plant-level integration.
