Position: Sr. Engineer – Aveva / Static Equipment / Tank Design

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in Static Equipment design, including storage tanks, pressure vessels, columns, and shell & tube heat exchangers. The candidate should be proficient in Aveva E3D and relevant design codes and standards. This role involves detailed design, vendor coordination, client interactions, and ensuring deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical design of static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, shell & tube heat exchangers, and storage tanks.
  • Review and approve equipment drawings from both in-house and vendors.
  • Prepare and manage purchase specifications, handle technical bid clarifications, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with design codes and standards including ASME Section VIII Div.1 & Div.2, TEMA, IBR, API 620/650/660, API 12F/12D.
  • Utilize design and analysis software such as PV Elite, Compress, and Nozzle Pro for equipment calculations.
  • Provide technical resolutions through meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage project requisitions and deliverables, adhering to project schedules and workflows.
  • Participate in ISO Quality Assurance documentation processes.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary activities related to vendor document reviews (VDR) and approvals.
  • Provide material knowledge and input, including various Materials of Construction (MOCs) such as CS, SS, LAS, LTCS, and Cladded Steel.
  • Support cross-functional communication to resolve design and documentation issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in static equipment design, specifically within Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, or Carbon Emission projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Aveva E3D and static equipment design tools (PV Elite, Compress, Nozzle Pro).
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, TEMA, IBR).
  • Strong vendor management and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables under project timelines.
  • Experience in ISO documentation and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination abilities in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
