We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, field experience in greenfield and brownfield projects, and hands-on proficiency in industry-leading civil and structural engineering tools. The role involves full-cycle project responsibility—from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and control all civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle: Concept, Basic, FEED, Detail Design, and Commissioning phases.
• Oversee and execute both greenfield and brownfield civil infrastructure developments.
• Develop and review engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with industry codes and client specifications.
• Conduct compliance checks on engineering consultant’s submissions and ensure project quality.
• Provide civil support to upstream oil and gas development plans.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and optimize civil design for cost and schedule efficiencies.
• Conduct field engineering checks and ensure a smooth handover to Operations.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable codes and standards in oil & gas (IBC, OSHA, ASCE 7, ACI 318).
• Willingness to travel internationally (US or Europe) based on project requirements.

Key Technical Skills

• Site & Survey Engineering:
  • Convert LIDAR/topographic data into civil models.
  • Prepare existing grade contours and establish site benchmarks.
  • Coordinate across latitude/longitude, state plane, and plant coordinates.
• Grading & Earthworks:
  • Create rough/final grading plans.
  • Develop earthwork calculations (cut/fill balancing).
  • Prepare erosion and sediment control plans & SWPPPs.
• Infrastructure Design:
  • Sizing of secondary containment systems (earthen berms, MSE walls).
  • Develop truck turning radius layouts and heavy equipment access zones.
  • Surface treatment drawings, stormwater planning, and drainage.

Software Proficiency

• Civil Design & Modeling:
  • Autodesk Civil 3D, 3D AutoCAD
  • HydroCAD (stormwater modeling)
  • Optimoor (tanker mooring analysis)
• Structural Design & Analysis:
  • Bentley STAAD.pro, STAAD Foundation Advanced
  • Bentley RAM & RAM Elements
  • Enercalc, DYNA, Ensoft LPILE
• Anchor & Base Plate Design:
  • Hilti PROFIS (post-installed/cast-in anchor calculations)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience in the oil & gas industry
• Experience in CO₂ removal units is an added advantage
• Familiarity with international standards: IBC, OSHA, ASCE, ACI
• Strong analytical and technical communication skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, multinational environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• High integrity, attention to detail, proactive mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
