Senior Hardware Engineering Lead

Position: Senior Hardware Engineering Lead

Experience: 10 Years+

Location: Morrisville, NC || San Antonio, TX

Duration: 12- 18 months Contract / Direct Hire

 RESPONSIBILITIES  :

• Implement High speed, Analog, Digital, Low power, Mixed Signal, RF Designs
• Estimate effort for hardware design for proposals
• Competency building of HW team aligning with technology roadmap of the company, identifying skill set gaps and filling the gaps to have self sufficiency
• Help the team in debugging designs
• Review and implement designs and provide guidance for HW design
• Successfully deliver all HW design Projects with on time delivery,
• Develop and Implement good HW design guidelines and Process
• Find ways to Provide additional HW design Services and expand HW design solution offering
• Maintain project documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor or Masters in Electronics Engineering
• Hands on Design and implementation Digital, Analog hardware for HW Engineering projects as HW architect
• Experience in:
  • Low Power, Battery Operated and Miniature circuit designs.Schematic Capture, Board Layout, Circuit Simulation, DFx Analysis, Board Bring up, System Testing and Verification/Validation.High speed board design, Flex PCB design, WiFi/BT/ISM RF design, Processor design, Power supply design, Fiber Optic design and System Engineering Product Qualification Testing and Certification for EMI/EMC, ESD, UL Safety, IEC, NEBS compliance
  • Complex consumer/industrial/medical system design, Low Power Battery operated Medical Device design, High speed board design, LED Lighting design, Smart KW-hr Meter design (Home)
  • Automation design, Power Supply designs, RF design, Fiber Optic transceiver design, Ethernet Switch design, ASIC/FPGA design, Microprocessor design, Motor Control design Complex High Speed (10GB/s+) Board and Backplane design, Thermal, SI, DFT and DFM Analysis, System Engineering, EMI/EMC/ESD/Electrical Compliance Testing
  • Circuit Simulation, Thermal Analysis, Signal Integrity Analysis, Reliability, DFT and DFM Analysis, Board Bring up, System Testing
  • Compliance Testing and Certification for IEC and UL including FCC, EMI/EMC, ESD, Acoustic, and HiPot compliance
  • Electromechanical Systems, Multi-Axis Motion Control, Fluidics, Data Acquisition, Graphical User Interfaces and System Engineering
  • Signal Integrity and Power Integrity, Thermal Analysis
• Proficiency & hands on Knowledge in Prominent Industry standard tools for HW design, HW Microprocessor & Microcontroller families, Development Platforms, PCB Layout , Regulatory standards
