Position: Project Manager - Millwork
Experience: 12 year – 15 years
Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech – Mechanical / Production (Must)
Location: Thane
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage millwork design and engineering projects from concept to execution
- Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Manage cross-functional teams including design engineers, project leads, and production teams
- Review architectural drawings and convert them into detailed shop drawings
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and quality benchmarks
- Drive delivery excellence by ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Handle client interactions, especially with international clients (USA/Europe)
- Oversee quality assurance processes and resolve technical and design issues
- Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Maintain project documentation, revisions, and approvals
- Participate in recruitment and mentoring of team members
Desired Skills:
- Strong experience in project and manpower management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks, Pro-E, Inventor, CATIA, or NX
- Hands-on experience in Commercial millwork, commercial cabinets, woodwork
- In-depth understanding of woodworking materials, finishes, and joinery techniques
- Strong knowledge of hardware standards used in cabinetry/millwork
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and develop production-ready designs
- Familiarity with imperial and metric measurement systems
- Excellent planning, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- QA Lead Auditor Certification (preferred)
- Exposure to Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001)
- Valid USA B1 Visa (optional advantage)
